Is it that time again already?!

The latest issue of Celebrations Magazine is now available!

You already know that it’s a fantastic magazine. I sing its praises when it arrives every month, so you really should pick it up.

To make it extra special for me this month, the cover story is about my favorite attraction of all time, The Haunted Mansion, and if I do say so myself, the article is fantastic. Then again, I may be a little biased, seeing as how I’m the one that wrote it!

So, stop wasting time, and order your copy today!!!!

PostHeaderIcon Do you have any special WDW memories?

Of course you do. Everyone does. How can you not? Every visit there usually holds something magical, and you take a memorable moment home with you.

Now, there is a great new book called WDW Memories that is asking you to share your memories with the world. Straight from their website, “WDW Memories will spotlight favorite Disney vacation memories as told by everyday Walt Disney World Resort visitors. The nature of this publication is simple; to give Disney fans, new and old, access to the memories and magical moments only Disney can create and post it on a global platform.”

They have already recieved quite a few submissions, but they are looking for me. If you have a special memory from Walt Disney World that you’d like to share, check out their website, and send an email over to Lisette.

I’ve already sent mine in, and hopefully some of us will be able to share our stories with the world when the book comes out.

PostHeaderIcon Book Review: Keys To The Kingdom

I’ve always been fascinated by the business side of the entertainment business. I’ve read quite a few books about it, but most of them only skim the surface of the real juicy information that we all want to know. Fortunately for me, “Keys To The Kingdom: The Rise of Michael Eisner and the Fall of Everybody Else” doesn’t skimp on the good material.

The book, written by Kim Masters, offers a fantastic view not into Eisner’s time at Disney, but also his business life in general. It chronicles his humble beginnings to how he became one of the highest paid CEOs ever.

“Keys” offers an intimate look behind closed doors. It dives deep into the relationships that Eisner had with Jeffrey Katzenberg, Michael Ovitz, Frank Wells, and many, many others.

While some ‘behind the scenes’ books of this natural fall sort of flat, this books never ceases to entertain. It’s filled with enough gossip from the past to make even TMZ jealous.

Though this book is not as widely known as “DisneyWar” (another fascinating book on the subject), it is definitely in the same class.

If you’re interesting in learning more about Eisner’s time at Disney, along with some great insider stories about some of your favorite films, park attractions, and more, I definitely recommend this book. It clocks in at close to 500 pages, but it’s a fast read that you’ll enjoy every minute of.
