From the Magic of Disney to Page 626! Welcome!
Don’t adjust that computer screen! You’re in the right place!
I promised big things, and big things are coming…one of which you may have already noticed!
That’s right, MagicofDisney.net has changed homes and changed names…welcome to Page626.com!
Why the name change, you may ask? Well, since we’re branching out into new things and we’ve gotten a lot more visitors, I’ve decided to change everything up a bit! And in the spirit of the infamous gossip column Page 6 comes our own little Disney version…Page 626!
Along with the the same great stuff we’ve been bringing you, bigger and better things, along with a few new faces, are coming!
We’ll be fixing the site little by little the next few days, so bear with us as we get everything under control and in working order. We’ll have everything ready to go in no time!
In the meantime, be sure to update your bookmarks, and come back often!
See you soon!
Ride & Go Seek Ride Thru!
Earlier this month, I linked you to the website for Tokyo Disneyland’s latest attraction, “Monsters, Inc: Ride & Go Seek!”
Well, the attraction is now having a sneak preview at the park, and Joe over at the fantastic Tokyo Disney Resort fan page had a chance to check it out. He’s got two great videos to share: The first is of the ride queue and the second is of the ride itself. Go over and check it out at http://www.jtcent.com/disneyland/tomorrow/tommon.html
Watching his videos amaze me. I really wish Disney would do something like this at the Walt Disney World resort. It’s a great concept for an interactive ride, and it looks like a lot of fun!
Entertainment At Animal Kingdom
Sometimes, when people go to the parks, they rush to each attraction, never stopping to enjoy some of the sights and sounds that surround them. I’ll admit, I’m guilty of this sometimes too.
Fortunately, this visit, I was not!
When at Animal Kingdom on our third day, we slowly made our way over to the Kilimanjaro Safari, checking everything out along the way. By the time we reached the Tusker House restaurant, we heard some wonderful music starting up. We arrived just in time for some in park entertainment that everyone really enjoyed.
Now, you can enjoy it too, as I managed to get it on tape. It’s embedded below, but be sure to click here and then watch it in HD for even better quality!
I’m back!
Howdy folks!
So, I’ve been back about a week or so from my recent Walt Disney World visit, and I had a blast!
I’ve got a lot of great new behind the scenes tidbits for you in the coming weeks, along with some interviews, and some videos as well!
So, sit back, relax, and check it out!
Monsters, Inc: Ride and Go Seek Website Live
For those of you who live in the Tokyo area, or will be visiting it in the future, you’re in luck!
There will be a new Monsters, Inc themed ride opening in April 2009!
The ride, entitled “Monsters, Inc: Ride And Go Seek” will be one of the most sophisticated rides that Disney has every produced. It will feature over 70 audio-animatronics based on the world of Monsters, Inc. The ride itself is essentially one giant game of flash light tag that guests will play with the citizens of Monstropolis!
The official website for the ride just went live; however, you may have a hard time reading it, as it’s all in Japanese! It’s definitely worth a look, though. Check it out for yourself at http://www.tokyodisneyresort.co.jp/tdl/japanese/event/monster/
I hope we get something like this read at Disney World in the future, as it looks fantastic!
